The CW is expanding its WWE footprint in a big way.
The network and WWE announced a multi-year deal that will make The CW the exclusive broadcast home for NXT Premium Live Events, beginning with The Great American Bash later this summer. Under the agreement, The CW will air 20 NXT PLEs live in their entirety on both coasts over the next several years.
The deal gives The CW a full NXT slate, adding major events like Stand and Deliver, Deadline, Vengeance Day and more to its weekly Tuesday night NXT broadcasts.
“WWE NXT has energized our Tuesday nights by consistently delivering a loyal and passionate fanbase,” said CW President Brad Schwartz, calling the PLE expansion “a natural fit.”
The CW first brought NXT to broadcast TV in October 2024 under a five-year agreement. WWE says the move helped raise the profile of NXT’s next-generation stars, with Shawn Michaels adding that the company is “excited to bring NXT Premium Live Events to broadcast television for the first time ever.”
NXT airs live every Tuesday from 8-10 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
